Are flightplans broken?

I posted what seems to be a bug regarding flightplans (at least one package always gets stuck in the loop for me) so I just have a broader question - are they actually functional at the moment? Do you use them? I am coming to CMO after a long break so I have no idea if this is something that I am doing wrong or is this an incomplete feature at the moment. It's really frustrating building all those flightplans, making sure they all take off in order only for them to get lost and spoil the whole strike.

EDIT: I created a test scenario with different packages, at least one gets broken and it doesn't have to be the same one.

At the moment a lot of things do not work as advertised.
I think a lot of players are waiting for an update to fix many tech issues mentioned in the tech forum of CMO:
https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... hp?f=10230

If you have troubles that are not mentioned yet already, post them with a .zip save file.

While I rather have the update today than tomorrow, because it seriously hampers playing and gives a lot of frustration, we should give the developers time to sort things out.
Just check the forum for updates, it will be worth the wait. I'm sure.

I believe that what you are describing has previously been reported. If you read back through the Tech Support issues then you should be able to find it. If that isn't the same as your issue, then your issue will obviously be new.

I did a lot of research into this a few months ago and I came to the conclusion that weapon allocation might be the problem. If you are trying to use a plane (or group of planes) and the amount of weapons can't be equally and sufficiently assigned to the liking of the program, then the attack is troubled. Some of it has to do with how many weapons are needed for each target, and how many are available. This appears to be the reason why some will go through with the attack (because they are properly assigned based on the target's needs) but others encounter a situation where there are either too many, or not enough. When that happens, they just stop and circle a waypoint.

Try to assign individual planes to individual targets with individual missions. If a plane has two weapons, and the target requires two weapons, and if that test run works fine (which I suspect that it will, then you know that it is a weapon allocation issue that occurs if multiple planes and targets are involved.

As the other poster has stated, the current version is flawed. Many gamers have reverted back to previous exe versions so that they can still play the game while the devs are working to fix these issues. Hopefully, this will be one of the ones that they fix.

If, by chance, what I described is not what you are talking about, then feel free to provide some more details about your concerns, and I'm sure that they will address it.
