Flampanzers and Stugs for me! The stugs surpress then the flampanzers move in and flame from two hexes away. (Later Stugs with long-barreled 75mm guns are also decent AT platforms.) The only problem is that I keep forgetting my marshmallows!

to be honest, in early battles against Japanese I like the M3, with the 37mm, 75mm and machine guns it can chew up soldiers as long as it stays clear of assaults.
I had an interesting series of turns with an M3 Scout car a couple weeks ago, with a 50 cal and two 30 cals it really ate up Italian infantry in North Africa. I hid it between two hills (this was against A.I.) and just routed squad after squad. After things started going very badly for the Italians I actually started to hunt down the stragglers with it. I almost regretted upgrading it to a Greyhound a few battles later. When used very carefully it's a sneaky little mobile machine gun nest.

Anything with tracks and bristling with machineguns. Or a 150mm tube.
But really, my fav above all: The StuH 42.

The Sherman 105. With its 6 HEAT rounds it really keeps the German tanks honest too.
The German HTs with the short 75mm gun (Sdkfz 151/9?) are really nice too.
Regular Shermans are actually quite good infantry support weapons too. Just don't look at them crossly or they'll blow up on you.
V2, I can't believe you didn't list your Saharanias (sp?) as your Italian favorite.

overall sherman 105.
but be careful with those, the splash damage is quite huge ( at least in H2H ). i fired and 2 german squads were routed, but my own supporting eng. squad in the same hex as the tank, too

I haven't really decided what is with the other nations but with the germans my favourite is: SkZfd 251/1.
Stuh42 costs 70pts, The Sdkfz 251/9 with short 75mm gun costs 48 pts, Sdkfz 251/1 with two AAMGs costs mere 24 points.
It's cheap as a soap and pretty fast moving.
P.S. Excuse me but what does this mean in the top of the message compose screen: "Welcome, mandreads. You last visited: Tomorrow at 0121 PM 13 Aug 03" ?!

Well…
I’d have to say I think the absolute best support vehicle I’ve found is actually a tank

Can I do that?
In H2H.fr (IIRC) the OT-85 can carry 12 (loaded with a Soviet Guard squad), has the 85mm for killing all but the heavy MBTs from the front, MG, (in campaigns even a 12.7mm eventually!) and a flame-thrower

. Alternately, load them with “Tandostanki) (sp?), recon, and AT team. I like to add a recon team when I can to drop reverse-slope and spot for the infantry/AT team/tank.
When playing GE, I’ve found a 251-variant that mounts dual (quad?) MMGs, similar to the Quad .50 HTs that the US and SO have. This however can carry 4. A GE Recon Patrol riding one of these is the bane of enemy scout infantry/snipers. The Recon Patrols spots them, and the HT rolls up and mows them down. They make good forward mobile AA assets. I also like throwing 50mm mortars on Beobs. They’re short-range fast support wherever the FO goes.
Ok, ok. Not true Infantry Support vehicles. I know. SturmTiger/Brumbar bring the heat, but I’ll have to agree that I’m partial to the STuG 42s.
