I don't play the AI in the Strategic Command series anymore as it is too easy to beat and gets stuck in "patterns" of play that are predictable. Examples: Adding AA units to your forces in France and concentrating airpower on German tanks generally can prevent AI Germany from conquering France as it doesn't really try to protect its armor. As the Allies, the AI almost always sends transports from America on the most direct path to ports in England unescorted. So the Axis can throw out a "net" of subs and surface ships that can easily intercept and destroy them. I've usually destroyed most of the British navy by this point, as the AI does a horrible job deploying it and makes it easy to kill. Much prefer playing humans.

Sounds like AI needs an update - what level and what spotting advantage did you give AI?
