All WW2 U.S. armies committed to the Pacific were even numbered. All armies committed to Europe had odd numbers.

The army numbers in this game should all be corrected to being even.

The reverse error was made in the ETO Version of this game and I pointed it out and it was corrected.

In the main campaign, 1941 Day of Infamy?
There are no army-level units available to the US player.
However, I never noticed the even and odd distributions.

Look at what Army numbers are in the editor. That's where I found it.

Also all USN fleets are odd numbered for the Pacific and even numbered for the Atlantic.

US Army ETO armies are odd numbered, PTO armies are even numbered.

You are right, however these numbers are just there for modders so that if they use this unit slot - which may or may not be used for Armies, depending on the campaign - then numbers are there ready to be used.

As 1941 Day of Infamy doesn't have US Armies in it, only Corps and Marines, this slot is most likely to be used for other unit types when designing campaigns, e.g. in the Solomons it is used for a different unit type.

Of course, if someone does want to add US Armies to 1941 Day of Infamy, then they should remove the numbers that aren't relevant.

It's different in our other games as we do allow US Armies to be built in the main campaigns, consequently removing the Pacific numbers from WWII: War in Europe definitely made things more accurate.
