First Impressions

Really cool game! The war in China plays very differently from the way it does in the Pacific theater of SC-WaW and I'm not sure what to do with Chennault...Can he command Chinese ground units or only Chinese air units because he is indicated as "China air task force"?
The vastness of the Pacific Ocean can really be felt when looking at the map and taking in the distance between Japan and the US West coast.
As Japan, I have units in all hexes that prevent/slow down Russian mobilization, but only Manzhouli, Harbin, Hsinking, and Tsitsihar has the alerting exclamation mark in the hex indicated as blue, indicating that the requirement has been met. Kiamusze and Yanji, still show the alerting exclamation mark as red, as though the requirement has not be met...is this a bug?

Chennault only commands the fighter and bomber units that enter the game for the China Task Force, but he can boost supply locally for anyone.

Make sure there are only purely Japanese units near those hexes. Even though colored yellow, Japanese puppet-state units like the Manchukuo and Nanjing units won't meet the garrison requirement.

Platoonist is correct, it suggests you have a non-Japanese unit where a Japanese unit is required.

Yes and my bad...I eventually did realize they had to be all Japanese units...I had one Manchurian and one Nanjing unit in place that were not counting...
I also eventually figured out what Chennault is all about too. Thanks Platoonist!
