Midcore

Just curious, I play with midcore/easy logistics so I can just build the biggest truck station in my capital and not bother with truck stations in neighbouring towns

However, whether I keep a public level 1 truck station, leave it private, or delete the truck station in those neighbouring towns I lose 33% of logistic points which pass directly through the neighbouring towns, and end up having to build roads bypassing neighbouring towns in order to keep all the logistic points intact

For example, this town is next to my capital and has no truck station, but sucks up 33% of the logistics points going though it - is this by design?

The logistics refocusing mechanic causes the loss of at least 25% of logistics points whenever logistics passes through another logistics station of the same logistics type (truck or rail) (scaling up based on the amount of AP the logistics has expended and the amount of previous refocusings), but the logistics gets its AP refreshed.

Although this is a major contributor to annoying micromanagement of logistics assets, it is working as intended.

Going through a city doesn't inherently cause any loss of logistics points, it's tied to assets that produce logistics points (railheads do not count despite saying they produce a few LP).

I had removed the truck station from the pictured town, all it contained was oil storage III, solar panels III, and barracks I, plus private city buildings (farms, police station, etc)

Maybe it has to do with the logistics production delay (manual section 5.11.3.1.)? If so, it should fix itself next turn.

It did fix itself eventually, but it took a while
