Can someone please tell me whether a unit with anti-air housed within a fortification also receives extra defensive bonus if fortification has ant air? Thanks.

Apologies for the delay in replying, in looking into this we discovered a bug in the code that took a bit of time to get to the bottom of.

Good news is that it will be fixed in the forthcoming patch, at which point AA upgrades to Fortifications will provide extra defensive bonuses to units occupying them.

Hi Bill - I'm currently playing a War in Europe game, in that if I have a fortification upgraded with 2AA, will it *currently* provide any additional AA bonus to a unit defending in it? Or is this only a World at War bug?

If not that's going to be a big waste of MPPs, so I need to know! Is it working for other resources e.g. Ports/towns/cities? If it is currently broken for fortifications, I hope thus gets fixed for all SC ganes very soon!

It will not be of benefit in War in Europe either at the moment.

Okay, just as well I hadn't started to add AA to my fortifications then! I'll also let my opponent know. Does adding AA to other resources work, though, in terms of adding to the AA of defending units? Also will the fix address the problem for on-going games or only for new games? Thanks

Yes to both, as engine changes ordinarily fix issues with ongoing games.
