Hi,
I've just started to play CMSF2 in earnest. Playing on the veteran level, why do the red enemy icons still show when they have been destroyed, like technicals that have been knocked out.
I'm also having trouble locating enemy soldiers in a building where the red icon shows one should be there.

I assume that you're using the stock icons? Do you have any units selected when the icon displays? A unit with direct LOS should see the vehicle and that it is destroyed, units that only know about it indirectly via C2 will see an icon. IIRC, with the stock icons, there should be a question mark on the icon.

Similarly, with the infantry in the building, if you see a question mark on the icon you'll not be able to see the unit. In veteran level and above, the FOW gets notched up and you'll have to spend more time spotting. You may know that there is some type of infantry in the building, but you won't know immediately - unless they reveal themselves by firing.
