[RESOLVED] Performance issues linked to layers

Hello. As mentioned by other posters, I'm also having performance issues that are linked, primarily to the BMNG layer. Problems appeared with Build 1436CIV for me. Prior to that, performance was not an issue. Playing on a new gaming computer (build less than 12 months ago). DxDiag file is attached.

Can you at least detail a little what you mean by performance issues?

Immedietately from startup, my cursor as well as the earth/map rotation mechanic is lagging immensely. This affects overal performance of the game (DB viewer, medium-large scenarios, scenario selector...). A work-around is to disable virtually all layer except the borders and coastlines layer. The BMNG layer appears to be main culprit, when turned-off, the drop in performance notably improves.

Something else that caught my eye since is that the diagnostics tab shows what I believe is the onboard graphics card of my mainboard as the GPU, not my actual NVidia graphics card. I suspect, this is connected to the issue?

Yes, that is the reason.

This is how to enable your Nvidia GPU in W10 and W11, it is an example for another software, do the same for Command.exe

Do not forget to save.

Cheers, that did the trick!
