The issue still hasn't been fixed in 1436 CIV. Also, even if you just set up a course, the course will be automatically canceled

Are you sure you are playing on version 1436? I've used this version extensively and haven't encountered that issue at all.

Yes, it's the 1436 CIV version. Even if I delete and reinstall it, the same problem continues to occur

On the chance that the issue may be very context-specific, can you please upload a save where this happens consistently? Thanks.

Can I ask how you get it to do that? I just went into 1346 and had no issues. The only issue I had was accidently hitting F3 twice by mistake. That basically cancels the path and starts creating a new one.

Currently, it is happening when I set course on aircraft assigned to support missions. I have not been able to confirm whether other missions are experiencing problems

Thats a pretty big detail to leave out of your post.
btw, that looks like a completely different bug than the one you linked to.

I uploaded two files. In the Course_test file, the route is not automatically deleted, but when the aircraft return to support mission, the route within the mission is not set.
Course_tset2 file causes route deletion problems on aircraft assigned to the Ford CAP mission

That point should be fixed for the next beta
Checking the second scenario

Checking this now, in the current development version which will soon released as a public beta. All aircraft assigned to the "Ford CAP" patrol mission seem to have no problem following a custom plotted course, and the course persists:
Marking as non-reproducible (possibly resolved in the meantime). If the issue resurfaces please post here.
