The discussion about abstraction vs detail is a good topic. But I thought the comment about hard vs fun and how one of the key goals was to replicate and enhance decision-making. Thats what I have always liked about wargaming. Force a player to plan and think ahead to make decision-making faster and easier. The goal is teaching critical thinking towards better decision-making.
