I’ve got a new computer (finally) and this doesn’t come with a disc player thingy. Can I download this? If so, how do I go about this? Thank-you.

Yes just go yo your games profile and download the installer and apply your serial number.

Click on 'My Page" at the top and that will take you to what used to be called the Member's Club.

Thanks gents. I assumed I only had the physical download and forgot about the Members club. I’ll give that a go.

There is a 7.0 though it adresses some bugs but brings back older ones. Especially naval, port attack, ...

Hi Peeps - so I've gone to the My Account page, selected Europe and downloaded WIF set up release v03.00.01.00.

There are two more versions shown - v03.00.02.00 and v07.00.00.00. Both of these have only one location and that is the US. So am I okay to download these if I'm in Europe??

Also, Joseignacio mentioned bugs with the latter. Assuming I can download these, which version are people using at present?

AFAIK (maybe someone more savvy will correct me) the offer to download from one place or another only affects to the speed or availability of the server and the connection.

Thus, you can download from anywere all the same, considering that these servers are fast enough and are usually slightly populated.
