I have a very complex inbound attack attack and the game has slowed to a crawl- the point where the speed became very slow was when the P-1000s got close to the EW aircraft. Other than that, the sim speed has been significantly improved.

Can you at least put a normal topic in?

Update- It appears that this was caused by an excessive number of entries in the message log for Unit AI. I had submarines that were surfaced that were generating hundreds of entries. Clearing the message log sped the game up considerably.
