Occasionally it actually shows 0 Unit Trucks were used despite them being used.
Also sometimes showing correct, sometimes wrong numbers.

Depot info might be its own trucks used to resupply other units while the unit display refers only to its own trucks sent out to gather supplies

I guess I found out.

1. The Depot Tooltip "Trucks" are those actually "inside" the Depot. Those are then listed in CR (the used and the not used ones) and Logistics Report-Freight area (the used ones). All good there (see the P.S. at the end)
2. The "Unit Truck Used" in the Depot Tooltip are what it suggest it is. So those Trucks which were AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TURN inside the Unit and were used to supply the unit.
3. The compromising thing is, that in the the Unit Supply Window on the right side there are Trucks+Attition, this number contains the under "2." named Trucks of the unit that were used (so what It guessed it would show). BUT it also contains the Trucks shown under "vehicles from pool", those come from the Pool and supposedly "were converted from freight" and....I guess... may deliver freight?! The Depot Tooltip does not see those Trucks as "the units trucks" since they just recently arrived (so to speak).

So in the first example, the Depot used all 477Trucks to supply the Units and additionally the Unit received 68 or 72 or whatever number of Trucks FROM THE POOL of which some got lost to Attrition (9).

P.S.
In small szenarios the numbers of "Trucks in Depots" add up (somewhat) with the used/not used Trucks inside the Depots. That makes sense, feels good.
BUT in the GC you have 50k Trucks "in Depots" (see Production Window or Turn Summary), but the actual number of Trucks inside the Depots (so used+not used trucks) are only 10k (or even lower). That's concerning and makes up for another thing at least I do not understand but would like to. Since if Trucks are inside Depots I want to see where they are. And if I only can see 10k out of 50k+ I wonder where they are. SINCE THEY ARE NOT "INSIDE" THE DEPOTS.
