The Gearing class has a 5" mount manually allocated to fire five rounds. In practice, it basically keeps firing until the target is destroyed.

This might be related- gun mounts are not respecting Auto Engage either in that they will not fire at all.

This issue has been present going back several builds. If you watch the Weapon Allocation window while salvos are being fired, it looks like an internal salvos-fired counter is not being incremented; it remains stuck at 1.
