Hi,

don't know if bug or user error. I asked in discorded. I was adviced to ask here:

I queued a thread in my target list. My (automated) defense fleet doesn't investigate it. It is in range and should have enough power. If my advisor suggests to investigate the same threat and I accept it my fleet goes there straight away. So my question is why my fleet doesn't react on my command. Perhaps I have a misunderstanding of the game mechanic. I have attached a screenshot and my savegame (https://fastupload.io/0620bf0a330c561c). I played on the latest beta.

Or is the problem that it is a defensive fleet? But why does my advisor suggest to invest with this fleet.

Yes, I tried it.

In my opinion all works here right because you have only one fleet and this fleet could theoretically investigate the threat. I hope that attack fleets get prefered for creatures and raid fleets for ships or bases if you set to capture ships and bases.
Hotkey the fleet and set them on attack after threat is eliminated set it back to defend. An automation to set the fleet to attack by allow the advisor purpose by click on investigate would be contraproductive if the fleet not be auto set back to previous stance after eliminating the threat.
