Hello everyone

Ever since I upgraded to my new pc, I no longer hear the sound of the Gravillax shooting its laser beam at my ships when they engage it in combat. I hear the screech of the Gravilax but not the sound of its laser firing. It also seems like certain weapon sounds are missing too.

Is anyone else experiencing any missing sounds in the game? I'm trying to figure out if this is a bug in the game or an audio issue with my new pc.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

We're aware of some sound issues that we're currently investigating.

If you have a list of sounds that you're not hearing, a list of them + a save demonstrating the issue would be useful. What version of the game did you start your save on?

For this you don't need a save or do you not believe your small commuinity? Some of us have more than 100+ posts.
If you want to control sounds start game open game editor place gravillex and one ship that's it. Or look if the sound file is in the game.

And this bug report were uneccessary if you finally get a known bug list or something like this.

I'm experiencing these sound issues on both the stable version and the current beta version (1.2.6.6), I started my game on the beta version prior to the current one.

Thanks for the info. We're investigating a range of sound issues where some weapon sound effects aren't playing properly.

I have the same issue (missing weapon sound effects), with v1.2.6.7 (with DLCs). Haven't tried without DLCs. Amazing how immersion-breaking it is, even though the other sounds are there.
