After I press play in the launcher the game opens as just a blank white screen with the game's music playing in the background.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Which version?

Are you using OneDrive by chance?

Check in this folder to be sure the files copied correctly
C:\Users\..user name....\Documents\My Games\WarPlan\Campaigns

Try installing it via steam.

If not uninstall/reinstall with all the patches.

This issue is specifically with the Warplan Pacific Steam version.

I have Uninstalled OneDrive and replaced its documents folder with a local documents folder yet the issue persists.

Would buying the game off of Matrix potentially fix the issue?

I have also seen other posts on the forum saying their anti-virus might have been the cause and I excluded from the game from scanning/protection but this issue has not gone away.
(McAfee specifically)

The file path you listed also seems to have been copied correctly on my system.

If you know of any possible way to rectify this problem that would be very much appreciated as this game seemed right up my alley.

This is an issue with OneDrive. I found a solution with another product I have but those implementations didn't make it into the current upcoming patch.

Basically my game writes to the document folder and Windows changes the location to the one drive. The game reads from the documents folder but when it reads windows decides "ok this time it is the C drive". I think this is linked to Windows 11 because we didn't have this issue in 2019 when the game released.

Steam version wont fix this.

You could #1, disable One Drive, even if temporarily, uninstall then install the game and run it once. I recommend steam because it is just easier.

#2 Go here.... C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\WarPlan\ and copy the folders that keep going to the OneDrive Scenarios, Saved Games, UserSavedData to the C:\Users\....user name....\Documents\My Games\WarPlan folder.
