I thought I read there was a Nov 2024 release date for this via Matrix and 2025 for Steam.

November 15th on Matrix and early 2025 for Steam

It will be possible to buy on Matrix and then redeem the code on Steam?

It's now November 17, 2024 and the game is still not released. Comments?

There was an announcement in the last week or so that stated they pushed the release date to Tuesday 11/19 so as to not release on a Friday and be able to provide better support.

Yes. Once it releases on Steam, Matrix will generate a steam key for you.

Is the release on Matrix Store tied to an usual time in the day?

17:00, when the creator has finished his working day, he will be allowed to release the game...
Fun aside- NO IDEA! 17:00 CET+1? 21:00? Looking for a release at 16:00 New York time or something?

I find this whole release process a bit wild. The reason they are releasing it here first before steam is that they want to drive sales on the website. I get that, but they advertising this very minimally. No Dev or sponsored Streams (it seems), they only shared one of the videos that content creators have made for the beta, heck even on their own store page they still has the old release date: "Releasing November 15th 2024 on the Matrix Store."

I wonder if splitting the release up like this will be beneficial in the long run. AB of course doesnt generate a lot of hype, just by the natrue of what kind of game it is, but then having two seperate releases (steam and here), so splitting up the "hype" in even smaller chunks and then not taking the promotion for the (I guess more important) release today really serious, just seems very odd.

Ahahaha GMT-3 here, in South America; as it's a holiday where I ilve, was kindda hoping to get on it sooner, was thinking that it would be linked to GMT, because where Matrix/Slitherine is headquartered; will keep looking too, sort of hourly ha ha

And I wasn´t the only one waiting for release on Friday- it´s the date that jumped to eyes easily- when I read "moved to Tuesday 19th" I remembered reading that in the past- I was one
telling people (1 or 2) waiting on Steam...

Missing videos- was watching DasTactics EarlyAccess video to get prepared. He was explaining every menu button...
There are too many 5-10min videos I´m not interested in.
Was watching AB1 videos to get prepared- modded WW2 - American attack on japanese island...

Well it's out and not to expensive . Just need to find the money after buying sea power in the missile age last week. Assuming this will get me a steam key as well once it releases there?

Yes, the Steam key can be redeemed.
