Graphic issues

I have the latest patch hoping the graphic issues I have with previous versions had been fixed. This is not the case. These issue make the game hard to like, verging on unplayable.

I want to play in windows mode under window 10 with a window big enough to occupy the whole of the screen or at least the majority of in when using my default of 1920x1080.

Initially having installed the patch I ran the Autorun and the game loaded got a small window in the middle of the screen (I'm assuming it is based on 800x600). Loaded an intro scen and the game ran but load times seem a bit long but I can live with it. Very first thing I did was go into options turning on/off gameplay preferences and most importantly setting global to windowed Mode, although I fail to understand why, when I was already in windowed mode, why this options was not already on? I locked them and restarted.

None of the game play options held? So tried again. None held? I then tried options under the opening screen but this does not have a lock option????

I then ran the game using btr.exe but now got full screen with all the problems associated with it and no amount of effort with options worked but then I don't want to play in full screen.

Can someone advise me on how to get the game to run in a decent sized window. Preferably one that can be resized but that's probably asking a lot and before someone suggest changing the computer resolution I aint doing that. If not I will have to but the game into Bin13.

Not sure why your settings are not holding. Never heard of that.

What I'm reading here is that you have no interest in running the game full screen through dxwnd; you only want to run in windowed mode and be able to adjust the size without adjusting the monitor resolution. If this is the case then this cannot be done with any of the in game options.

You my be able to accomplish this through a 3rd party emulator like dxwnd, but I don't know what the settings would be.

Hopefully others can help.

I have the same problem with settings not holding when running without admin privileges. Starting btr.exe as Administrator solved it.

Apparently the 3 window/font related settings are stored in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, where only Administrators have write access to.
