When you are invading a planet with ground troops and the independent colony is revolting, you can end up with an impossible situation to win.

My question, is there a way to reembark troops to save them from destruction? I control space and the transports are there. I just don’t find the option.

The reason I am asking is that the manual seems to indicate this is possible. But I fail to make it work.

If anyone has the answer.
