I would like an explanation for this!

I have decided, in my own methodical way, to play a duel with Recon titans until I have figured out the system.
I started this morning, and have played 8 matches, with a total of 16 titans. (8 for me, 8 for the computer)
I have designed only a couple of titans, and so generally have just what was available with the program. I did not delete any, either.
My question, and my complaint, is the random selection of the titans.
In the 8 matches, these are the following computer selections:
Hammer (twice)
Badger (twice)
Quantum (three times)
Pike (5 times!!!!!!)
All other recons, 30 or so of them, a TOTAL of 4 times.
This is not acceptable. The Pike sucks hard, with ONLY LRM-6's (lost all 5 times).
The chances that an individual titan would be selected for a match is 2/32, or about a 6% chance. This has happened 4 times, already.
I don't want to even attempt to determine the chances of a single titan being selected 5 times in 8 games.
I suspect that the answer would be less than 1/10th of 1 percent.
So, this is a programming problem. How best to fix it?
I realize that the sample size is small, only 8 games...I will continue to document my results.
