Germans able to build units

We are on Turn 25

Turn 23 - 1st Cav Div is removed from Russia to go garrison Western Europe - They never made it, they disappeared, vanished, or kidnapped by aliens. It is like they don't exist to come back later in the game (around turn 50ish). BUT I can build them......

I can build 1st Cav Division though








I would say this is a big problem for me in my game Again this is a server game and more than free to download at
your liesure. At this point I should just build them since from experience there won't be a patch to bring them back But I will hold off in hopes of a solution.

The 1st Cavalry Division historically became the 24th Panzer Divsion.

1st Cav does not show up in killed disbanded units either.

Then that works out. I have 24th PZ. Thank you much! Makes sense now.

So works out. I will build 1st CAV Div now. Maybe that will turn into 25th PZ ;-P

Evolution evolved some crazy things, maybe it happens more than once.

Use the i hotkey to go the reinforcements & transfers screen, then click on the renames tab. At the start of the campaign it lists that on turn 23 the 1st Cav renames the 24th Panzer. You can see in advance the automatic renames that are coming up by looking at this screen.
