Hey guys,

I have been thinking about and old one. Very old one.
It dates back to TOAW2 I guess. So a 20-25 years timeframe!

It was a what-if : Iran quickly won the First Gulf War, allied the soviet (not sure about this) and launched a revolutionnary war of invasion against the Gulf states.

Does it ring a bell for someone? I can't remember its name... And if someone has it, could they post it here?

I actually never thought for a moment someone would still have this, let alone understand which one I was looking for.

I converted the scenario in the TOAW ACOW, III and IV editors. I hope you enjoy it.

This is the work of Ryan Crierie and all credit for collating and assembling all these scenario archives goes to him. I believe Ryan uses the screen name "AlternateWars" on Internet Archive as that was the name of his old website.


IMO these links should be stickied in this Mods and Scenarios subforum.


I recommend you (and anyone else interested in these) download them as the Internet Archive has recently suffered a prolonged DDOS attack and was offline for weeks.

As for finding the scenario that only took a few seconds as the way the scenarios are filed in their respective folders makes finding specific scenarios easy.

For instance this one was post WWII, hypothetical and located in the Middle East which led me here:


Also the name of the scenario helped a lot as it succinctly described what the scenario was about and that more than segued with your description.
