Quick question (probably not the last),

I have a flight plan with waypoints 4 and 5 crossing an AAR (patrol) station:
I'm struggling with setting a waypoint to AAR: Allowed whether it impacts before or after the waypoint so it comes down to a choice:

I want to refuel at Gold Station so assume all wp's not mentioned are set to AAR: Not Allowed.
Which one of the following settings allows the mission units start looking for AAR at wp 4 and stop looking for AAR at wp 5:
A) Setting wp 4 to AAR: Allowed and wp 5 to AAR: Not Allowed. (wp set to AAR: Allowed means after this wp is reached)
B) Setting wp 4 to AAR: Not Allowed and wp 5 to AAR: Allowed. (wp set to AAR: Allowed means on the way to this wp)
C) I'm not even close to understanding flight plans and AAR.

Given your description, I believe that you want A.

I believe that the option of having additional WPs being able to refuel is sort of a helpful thing, just in case something were to happen, and refueling is an emergency. I have done exactly what you set up, had a plane pass by 4, and then 5, be halfway to 6, and then decide that it needs fuel and turns around and heads back to 4. When that happens, things get really weird as the plane has already been to 5 so it sort of flies into the Twilight's Zone. So, having extra fueling options is beneficial.

That said, I can't see the scale in you picture, so you may have an issue with the distance between 4 and 5 being so close to each other. Again, I don't know what you scale is, so maybe it's 200 miles. It just looks close.

Finally, as I mentioned above, A2A re-fueling has a few quirks right now, as we discovered in another thread. Some of those seem to indicate that if the plane deems it to be unnecessary to re-fuel, then it will refrain from doing so. You can set one up flight plan and it can work perfectly, or you can set one up and it can be quirky. So, try it several ways and see what works for you. Simple refueling seems to work well, but more complex ones (coming and going using the same tanker, for example) may prove to be a little more challenging.
