if the Rupertforce does not spawn in Inverness but next to it because there is already a unit in Inverness, and you then choose to send the Rupertforce to Norway, it sends the other unit in Inverness instead of the Rupertforce. I assume the same is true for the French one.
On a sidenote, Narvik seems to be covered in snow year round. Is that how it is supposed to be? It makes the mission to take narvik basically impossible to succeed.

Indeed, and that is a difficult issue to resolve though I will give it some thought.

The terrain is frozen, and although it is certainly not easy to take Narvik, it can be done, air support from Carriers is normally required to achieve success here.

thanks, but no need. I was just testing out how much effort it would be to take Narvik with this decision in a hotseat game.

Maybe the other unit in Inverness can be moved, just as with the Atlantic wall event if there's a unit where the guns spawn?
