Does anyone know if Northern Fury is dead? I've really enjoyed the scenarios over the past few years but I haven't seen any scenarios released in quite awhile.

Was that the intention? To keep adding to the (76) scenarios it has?

I believe so. The Northern Fury website still shows a lot of "scenario not yet written" labels for all the theaters. Below is the list of scenarios for the Pacific Fury subset, for example. It shows 15 Pacific Fury scenarios, with only six released (that I know of).
