Time Zone Verification

Anyone aware if there are time zone verification of posts time stamps, or is this too hot a subject to even enter into discussion?

Thanks for the consideration, but this is too hot of a subject.
Asked my Mom, to verify my own time zone existence at an early age.
She refused, so did my primary school teachers.
Wasn't cleared up until I physical went to the Royal Observatory.
Greenwich, England.
Controversial to this day, since some may deem this racist to use British time.

Respectfully, does this explain why the custom date formatter does not report daylight savings observations?
