Hi!

I do get migraine very easily, and frequent headaches with gaming and screens. I've noticed that very high contrast imagery increase these problems. Could be related to my astigmatism.

White text on black background can be pretty problematic for people with astigmatism, as light on black background creates a lot of "shadows": here is a good thread that shows how it looks like for people without this issue: https://www.threads.net/@mrmedina/post/ ... on-black-b

I wonder if there is any way to customize the color of text in the UI through modding or settings? How about window background color?

If full customization is not possible or hard to add, maybe a low-contrast setting could be something to add? That makes the background not as black, and the text not as white?

The UI is mostly hard coded C++ so it's not easy to change, but in the game folder data\graphics\gui there are .css style files and button textures that can be customized.
