[DB REQUEST] ESSM Blk II adoption in current ships

The current DDG-51 class ships including Flight III still using the RIM-162A ESSM Blk I, and according to the sources they are already using the Blk II now, but it seems like using it requires additional sensors. Any plans on updating that?

I add blk II to VLS ships all the time. Including the needed Aegis sensor. Or you can post a request on the Github site.

Yeah I'm also doing that, but it will be way more confusing for those MK29,MK57 launcher for those people who are not familiar with them.

This is a huge work for the VLS changes, I'm still don't have time to addresses that because of it changes a lot

I haven't posted it yet, it will be a massive change across different ships, I think foreign ships also need to change it too, I will post that when I figure it out which ships are operating.

I don't think its that "massive". Its a farily straight forward additional variant across maybe 30 ship classes. I think the harder part is checking foreign use and changes.

A side project I have been working on is creating VLS loads for Burkes and Ticos. Its pretty easy to do and saves a lot of effort in "modernizing" some of the loadouts.

These two are DDG Flight IIA Restart and Flight III heavy AAW loadouts with reduced Tomahawk loads. I added new ESSMs and updated SM-6s in exchange for the Tomahawk tubes. Still 24 multi Tomahawks. Just import and have at it.
