Editor questions

Am I missing something here?

In the editor while creating missions, is there any way I can set units up and get them to remain in the same place I set them up? I want to place units in specific locations based on terrain to set up battle positions, defensive strongpoints, assembly areas, etc. I spent a bunch of time putting units where I wanted them based on terrain, saved and exited. When I returned to continue editing, all the units were moved/redeployed from where I put them and were laid out in parade ground fashion. This happens whether I lock them or not.

I've also noticed that setup zones are always laid out perfectly east-west aligned. Is there any plan to allow user-specified setup zones? I'd like to be able to free draw setup zones to allow for use of maps in other than east-west alignment.

The editor should allow a scenario creator to have full ability to set it up as he sees fit.

Units, other than pillboxes, and placed at the formation level.

I hope in the future it will be possible to place formations anywhere, but the zones help the dynamic AI to make a plan, so completely removing the restrictions can be tricky.
