We have just finished the final of the Autumn KO tournament.
Tiopepe playing as the Americans was leading 78-75 on points and had retained control of one of the two Victory Locations
TonyAfan playing as the Americans was leading 42-28 on points and had retained control of one of the two Victory Locations Overall score in the game was 117-106 to TonyAfan.
I assume both players were awarded minor victories playing as the American side.
Final score in the game was changed to 217-306 to Tiopepe

Can you explain how this score was calculated.

The scoring system in this game for multiplayer is not fit for purpose and promotes negative tactics, in some scenarios you can win by avoiding combat. Simplify the system just award points for positive actions e.g. for casualties inflicted, victory locations taken and units exited the battlefield.

It looks like the game awarded Tiopepe a major victory and a bonus of 200 points as the Americans even though he did not control all the objectives.

''If the defender manages to retain control of the majority of the
objectives and has also inflicted more casualties, then the attacker
suffers a minor defeat.
Finally, if the defender holds all objectives, the attacker suffers a
major defeat.''
