CANADA - USA Scenario

Given President-elect Trump's recent statements regarding Canada becoming the 51st State, I was thinking it might be fun to develop a scenario "US Invasion of Canada 2025". Does anyone have mapping for Canada and the US (yes a very long border!) or even a portion of it. For example is there a War of 1812 scenario out there? Interestingly MGen (Retd) Richard Rohmer wrote a fictional book about this in the 1970s called Ultimatum.

But how to keep this challenging?
The US army is much stronger than the Canadian one, same for mobilization potential. And as the US also dominates the Atlantic, so there is little hope of reenforcements.
The main reason for the US not to do it are political and economic. Canada is hard to absorb and invading one of your closest allies will cost you so much in trade and allies elsewhere (particularly the UK and Australia).
Maybe Trump tries to pull a Crimea? No open invasion only special forces and volunteers supporting supposed local pro-American rebels?

Don't forget like the New York governor did that Canada is a member of NATO. The scenario could get very interesting very quickly.

Such a move would kill the NATO alliance, which is another important political consideration.
But I don't think the European partners are able to intervene in North America in any meaningful way. US air and naval forces are too strong for them to cross the Atlantic.
What could happen in an extreme case is the US troops in Europe being expelled by force.
Which would make for another interesting scenario: Short term advantage NATO (US in theater forces outnumbered), Mid term advantage US (more deployable troops, more firepower), Long term vantage NATO (more people and money, shorter supply lines).
