In the attached scenario, I'm unable to add SH-60 Seahawk to the OH Perry Frigate. The message is 'Unable to take-off from the facility due to runway/access/launcher.'. Is this something I am doing wrong? I was able to add Lynx helicopter to the British frigate.

To recreate the error, in editor mode, select the OH Perry Frigate > Edit Aircraft > US Seahawk filter > Choose, 1987 MH-60B > Add Aircraft.

I forgot to mention I am on Steam version, 1.07 - Build 1527.

The Seahawk is too big for the Short hull Perry.
They used the smaller SH-2 Seasprite.
If you want to embark a Seahawk, you need the long hull Perry (FFG 36 Underwood in the DB).

If you are not sure an aircraft will fit your ship, you can compare the aircraft size with the ships airfacilities in the DB viewer (see attached pic).

I actually looked at the 'small aircraft' setting, but I was not sure how that applied in case of the Seahawk.

Thanks again, this detail is one thing I really like about Command. I can go fight this old classic Harpoon scenario now.

The plane size is very simple. Bigger plane needs bigger air facilities.
A small plane can fly from a medium facility but not vice versa, and so on.
This also matters on land bases where runway access point size and runway lengths matters.

You can see all the info you need in the DB viewer (see pic. A fixed wing A/C would also list take-off and landing distances needed), but if you are in doubt you will always get an error message like you got about plane size if you try to add a plane that doesn´t fit a given facility.
