I have Recon aircraft, but my airfiled is on a different hex, so I can't launch the aircraft. Is there a way to transport the aircraft to the other hex (like on Truck or building a road)? Or is my only option to build an airfield on the hex with the aircraft?

You can move it to your airfield by strategic move (S key).
