May I suggest that all of us who have played ToS for a while (1.4 or WS) offer to teach new players (through ICQ). Instead of newbies being presented with *opponents*, we could play two strong human random teams against two weak AI teams, and talk our "students" through the complexities ... the move/attack combination which is such a problem in the beginning; co-ordination of titan movements within a team, and so on.

Perhaps a sticky thread, offering tuition and giving ICG numbers and time zones (to make it easier to choose a companion who's available at the same time of day)?

So, here you go. If you're a ToS beginner, and have ICQ, we can be allies against the AI, and I'll talk you through the complexities of the interface ... and you won't have to worry about being massacred while we're doing it!
