Mega Campaigns length

I own all three mega campaigns and am playing all three. My only question is how long are they? They seem to go on forever, no complaint, just curious.
What happens when you finish one?

I know that Lost Victories is like 3 times bigger than the other two. Something like 60+ possible scenarios.
IIRC, the endings are rather abrupt. i.e. not very satisfying.

LV will probably go around 55 battles, give or take some, depending on how well you do. I'm 23 battles into MCNA and not sure. Only 9 battles into MCWT. The more DV's you get, the more opportunities you have for additional battles. Suffer a bunch of defeats, and the reverse is true.
Then there's the new one. It's format is a bit different from the other ones. It can play longer than say MCNA, which is roughly the same size as far as possible battles, due to this unique twist that WBW came up with.
Size wise they go:
MCLV
MCNA
MCWT
New one would be about like MCNA.
Hope this clears it up some.

I finished MCLV and MCNA . In MCLV I played 49 scenarios and in MCNA 38.

I am assuming that MCNA in these threads means "Mega-campaign North Africa." Is MCNA the same as "Desert Fox 1941" or have I missed some upgrade?

Thank you. No one is more astounded than I that I was actually right about something.

I found MCNA to be just long enough. MCLV and MCWT were so engrossing, I actually don't remember how many battles I fought. The ending of MCNA at the time seemed like a teaser that there might be a follow-up MC. Perhaps we can look forward to one when the Med/NA mod for CL comes out.

Very folks ever finish MC Lost Victories. It is huge.
Watchtower and Desert Fox are mine and I can answer the question, more or less.
How long you play depends on how well you do. If you keep winning, it will be longer. If you lose or get a draw, you will miss some battles. That is because you did not do well and your units were pulled from the line.
So the length of Desert Fox will be between 30-40 battles. The length of Watchtower will be between the same more or less.
There are branches in Watchtower and depending on what you choose, for example at the beginning, you choose Gavutu-Tanambogo, Tulagi or Red Beach.
At the end you fight around Henderson or accompany Carlson's Raiders in an overland trek to cut off retreating Japanese.
This was a different innovation and allows you more choice.
Now the newest MC coming out soon, Screaming Eagles is very different. Depending on the Regiment you choose, you can fight 12 battles (327th Rgt) up to 26 battles (506th Rgt).
Even though there are 130 scenarios total you get to play nearly all of them without repeating any of them, which means you get a lot of replay value out of it.
Again, do badly and you'll miss battles.
I hope this helps...WB

Yes, I had every intention of doing Desert Fox, Part II, including the Gazala Fight, capture of Tobruk, El Alamein, invasion of North Africa and the fighting in Tunisia.
But you must understand that a Mega Campaign is a very long and complicated task, like nothing you can imagine. It kinda takes something out of a person once he and his team have completed it.
You kinda got to get your wind again before you start another. MC-Screaming Eagles has over 1,900 files in it, by far the biggest MC to date.
I felt it was important to get a representation of Western Europe fighting before going back to the Desert. As long as interest is maintained and sales are good, Matrix might allow me to do that one day if I'm still alive and kicking

I own all 4 too! Started MCNA like 2 years ago, and I'm still playing!!!! [:)] I've to be in the high 20's easy! I started WT last summer some time. And I think I'm around scenario 15 at least! I want to finish MCNA before starting LV. My brother loves LV and keeps telling me that I should start it. I'm getting curious now!!!

I should have answered this a long time ago, but somehow never saw it.
As correctly stated, MCLV is the longest.
MCNA and MV-Watchtower are about the same length. You will fight about 40 battles of so.
The ending is a resume of the score and an article that gives some finality to what you have played.
MC-SE is different. You can play through it much quicker. It is set up differently from the other three.
In MC-SE you have four distinct threads of play, each one following the actions of one of the regiments of the 101st. The length can vary from 12 to 25 battles, depending on your success and the individual regiment.
The nice thing is that you can then replay another regiment and fight completely different battles without repetiion. So it is kind of a four in one game. You get four chances to fight and win without repeating yourself.
Thus it plays quicker and offers a replay value that the other three don't have.

Hello guys, this is my first post! I am pretty new to SPWaW but I have played a few scenarios via email with a friend of mine in France. I have just upgraded to version 8 and want to playing some of the built in campaigns as a prelude to playing a MC. My question is, can a MC be played human v human via email?
