US Army vs. USSR 1980 Situation: Allied forces are still on the defensive, but anticipate launching a major counter-offensive within the next 72-hours. Soviet forces are moving to take the 'twin bridges' over the Gutten River, near the towns of Rohlsdorf and Hovversdorf. Exact enemy force make up is unknown, but you can be sure they'll have mechanized infrantry and armor, plus possible air support. These bridges must not be destroyed and the enemy must be kept on the north side of the river!

Mission: Your mission is to assume command of the forces available to you and hold the two bridges! Most of the forces are positioned well to act as a defensive wall against the anticipated Soviet onslaught.

Allied Forces:
- 2 Platoons of M60A3 Tanks
- 1 Company of motorized Infantry
- 2 HMG sections
- 1 Combat Engineer Platoon
- 1 section of M163A1 SP AA
- AH-1 helos and F4 Phantom II's on-call

Really enjoyable little scenario, thank you!
A bit too easy maybe? Or my plan was great maybe?
I did have +10 moral and training.

I had to tweak the scenario a few times, specifically in regards to force number and strength, to try and achieve play balance. In the end, I found that if you use what I consider “good tactics”, it can be a fairly “easy” win, but I enjoyed the destruction :) so I left it alone. Also, I found that if you commit your forces too early or “piece meal”, you will have a lot more difficult time with things.
