Soulblazer and I are at Dec.11,1943 and while he has clobberred me this game I want to finish it to the last day to see if there is any special victory screen. Has anyone ever taken the game to the last day?

Drex...

I know you from Aces high, and swoop got me involved in UV.
I'm looking to start another game with someone who can pound out turns daily. Was wondering if that was you.

Cheers

Whats this new game you mentioned?

Gosh Warchild I never played Aces High but maybe there's another Drex around. I have heard about my doppelganger before but I'm afraid to meet him. Anyhow Matrix has just released Korsun Pocket and I'm still going through the tutorial. It does seem to be another winner but its not tactical like SPWAW( where perhaps you might have run into me). I just lost an opponent who decided to spend his time on other extracurricular activities so if you still want a UV match I'm game. Take any side.

Hi Drex!

There is a Drex in Aces High. The best stick there is in our sim. :) Absolute top fellow who is humble, gracious and considerate. Not only is the name the same, but I think the character traits also. :)

Hot **** Daddog! I gotta meet this Drex. Honestly in the 56 years I've been around I've never met some one named Drex. I was told once that a guy in line in front of me was named Drex but that was so surreal that I felt kinda wierd about it. Now there is another Drex out in Cyberland and it is good to know he is a respected Guy. Gotta play him in PBEM. Would that be strange? Playing your own namesake. I couldn't lose! :D

maybe drex is not his full name...

I mean what if his full name is like drexter,or drexy...would it still be the same?

LOL

He is a great guy. I met him at the 2002 Aces High Con. He won the 2 vs 2 shoot out for the 3rd year in a row that time. It is amazing how he can fly in Aces High. He has an amazing ability to control and conserve his energy (speed) and manipulate it to his advantage. It is almost surreal how he can turn a fight around. There are a handful of other pilots that are very good, certainly in the top 10 pilots, but many have a ego that really get in the way.

Here are some screen shots from our squad times on Friday nights you might enjoy.

It was a freebie trial an I had a pretty good time I liked it more than warbirds...my bro is(was) a big warbirds fan he started playing that back in the 80's before browsers! his bill was like 240$ a month:eek: back then but AH was pretty fun.cheers.

No! It has to be Drex for Drexel. any other derivative would be unseemly.

lol...I figured this Drex was the AH Drex too.

I've never flown against him but watching him fly at that Con made me glad that we never met in the virtual skies.

the original question?

Guess nobody has ever gotten to Jan 1, 1944 huh?

How about has anybody actually won a Japanese AV by being in Noumea or Australia on 1 Jan 1943 (OR DID YOUR SNIVELING OPPONENT GIVE UP WHEN HE/SHE SAW ALL WAS LOST). was there a screen announcing your glorious victory and the immortalization of your fame in the annals of the empire or some such?

Ah yes it has ended. I played the game to the very end and experienced the victory - or in my case-the defeat screen. It is too banal to desribe.
