From the scenario editor, open a current scenario.

Save the scenario under a new name AND a new slot number.

Then edit your scenario.

You cannot alter those values with the provided editor.

Open the Scenario File you saved (Slot 50). Re-save it using "Save As" from the "File" menu. FIRST click on the Slot number, THEN enter your title in the "Using This Comment" field.

I openned a current scenerioo but I can't find the plane replacement rates... Also can you Edit ships stats such as armor and durability?
You cannot edit any of those values with the provided editor.

Also on the Campaign Data Screen there is a box for Scenerio name I named it and saved it to slot 50 just to make sure I did not overwrite a legit one.
Don't worry, you cannot overwrite Scenarios 1-20.

BTW, be careful when you reply in a thread. You accidentally started a new thread instead of replying.

There is also a little bug that when you launch the editor, you should not use the first file you open. You should open the one you want to work on after that.

Here's what happens:

You open a Scenario, let's say it's #19. Look at Akagi's Captain. It will be 1999. It should be 423 T. Aoki.

Now open it (or any other Scenario) and (if Akagi is in it) you'll see she's got her Captain Aoki.

For some reason, opening the first file causes a mis-read of the values. Opening it again, corrects it.

hey!

Hi all,

DadMan you never told me that tidbit!
I had moved everything in a number 1 slot down lower to avoid this error.

There are no docs on it. The Editor is not supported by Matrix/2by3 either.

I understamd we can't alter the replacement rates of existing ships.

However, I'm wondering if we can copy existing ships, change their names, and add them into some empty slots in the editor for an existing scenario. Can this be done? And will the ships show up?
