I am in scen1 turn 2 right after PH as the allies. Somehow I can't get a certain sub to load mines. Game version is the latest beta.

The sub is K XVIII at Soerabaja. I am creating a Sub Minelaying TF, and when I assign the sub or hit "Replenish TF from port", a little popup message says, "K XVIII is already loaded with mines"
but when I check the sub it shows 0 mines loaded.
Is there something I am missing? I do have 121 of those mines in the pool.

nevermind. It was user error as I suspected. I had them on stockpile "yes".

I had been thinking about this problem and that was the only conclusion I could think of. I was going to post this but you found it on your own. Great job....GP

Normally just selecting the mission as Sub Minelaying causes the available mines to load (if the port is big enough, has the supplies and there are mines in the pool).
Interesting that you got an "already loaded" message when in fact they were not. You should report that in the thread on bugs for V 1128Beta.

With a save. Yeah, I forgot about that....GP

I am surprise that I was able to log in!

What you need to check is if you actually have correct mines in the stockpiles for that submarine. The number is limited and if you have already loaded mines onto other submarines, you may just happen to be out of mines for that submarine type.
