I have an opponent who, as axis, believes that the victory conditions grossly favor the allies. He has offered to play the 1939 scenario using historical dates. I believe that while 1947 might be too much, the game was designed to give the axis a fair shot, and therefore, a 1945 date as a victory condition would be unachievable for the allies against a competent opponent. I'd like to know what others think on this subject. Do you think the victory conditions need to be tweaked? If so, what would be fair?
