Not sure if this working as intended, but when you play 'Major War' Strategem on a Major you still take all the happiness and loyalty hits you take as if you did not play the card....

Is this working as intended?? Why would you pay about 20PP to play a card which seems to have little difference than just going straight to war by going the opponents border???

Im fairly certain 'Minor War' allow you to break you pacts etc without cost happiness and loyalty cost?? So is this different for 'Major War'???

Cheers

These stratagems allow to declare war when it's not possible to move troops there (you can't strategic move troops into war declaration on a regime that controls an entire island). How the rest is supposed to work, I don't know.

Its supposed to be used to declare war on Majors you can not move units into to declare war that way.

best wishes,

While it's working as intended, perhaps GazBot is on to something.

It seems reasonable to posit that all those PP points are part of a domestic campaign of disinformation against the target regime making attacking them a little less impactful to your populace and leadership. That might make the card much more useful in a regular, non Oceania, situation.

Not a bad idea. Added to to-do list!
