Auto escort value in Req AC(Esc) parameter

No matter what I am doing, I cannot set the 0 value for the escort planes in the Req AC(Esc) parameter.
The tooltip says it is going from (0 - auto), but it is always going to auto when I set 0.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Of top of this Screen to you the Doctrines, there you can set the Escort percentages to 0 for Mission types you do nto want/want Escorts to fly.

I have already set the pourcentage to 0. Still 0 is transformed in auto.

If it is 0% then auto means 0%, right?

Well yes but this is not really straightforward. And why a tooltip indicates (0..auto) if you can never set it to 0? This is confusing.
