CMO: Missing map

I've been having problems loading the map in Command: Modern Operations. Long story short, when I load the game, the global map is just a white screen. I had this problem in the fall and it seemed to be resolved when I deleted my shader cache. That hasn't worked this time, nor has running a clean boot and other steps. (In a strange anomaly, the game did run on Friday morning -- after I'd tried the clean boot and restart without success Thursday night, only to have it run when I turned the computer on the next day -- but then the game stopped running again after my computer installed a driver update on Friday night.) This morning a dev on the Steam forum asked me to run Game Options --> Map Display, check the option "Show Diagnostics" to see what GPU the game is running. I'm not seeing a GPU indicator. I tried posting a screenshot on Steam, but the link to my OneDrive doesn't seem to be working. Cross-posting the screenshot here. Welcome any ideas anyone has on how to get the game running again.

Can you try to unzip these files into the CMO installation folder?

Thanks. I installed the folder and files in the config folder in Steamapps/Common/Command/Config. Didn't work, unfortunately. Did I put the folder/files in the right place?

If Command.exe is located inside the \Config folder then your installation is somehow very badly damaged.

The Command.exe binary needs to be placed in the folder [Steamapps]\Common\[CMO] .

I would suggest not only uninstalling, but manually wiping out the installation folder (to prevent critical files from being left in the wrong location), and then re-installing from scratch.
