Aviation conveyor of Poland

Post by StalnoyMonstr »

How does it relate to the historical reality that England, in the event of a German delay in Poland, receives an air group of fighters? Did the Poles actually build (could they have built) an "Air Unit = 400 combat aircraft" for England in September 1939 (this size is indicated in the game manual)?

That is a computer opponent malfunction trying to reinforce a front. No one has ever NOT attacked Poland.

I may have misunderstood you because of the online translator, but at the start of the game, the campaign briefing said: "If Germany doesn't conquer Poland before October 13th the UK gains a free air superiority unit"

They do receive the air unit.

I believe it is the Polish pilots, the expensive part of the air unit...training.

This should never happen to be honest...it also forces the Germans to actually fight in Poland rather than just pull out and go elsewhere early...not that they should.

i dunno about this being a bad idea

even with the vast majority of the polish air force annihilated by the luftwaffe poland still sent considerable pilots to the UK and their contributions are well documented.

if the bulk of them HAD NOT been shot out of the sky, it's pretty reasonable to think their contributions would have been significantly higher.

To be honest it is pretty basic. The Germans should be able to conquer Poland in 2 turns. If they can't expect to lose against France.

Any player should have been learning by practicing the battle against Poland and pretty much have it down.
