Is the launcher supposed to be running in the background? If not, how to I get rid of it? Thanks.

This assumes you installed it on “C” drive and a default installation, you should then launch straight into the game once you have made the changes
I’m also assuming it’s a non Steam game
Right click your game shortcut and change the properties as below

Target: "C:\Matrix Games\Gary Grigsby’s War in the East 2\War in The East 2.exe"
Start in: “C:\Matrix Games\Gary Grigsby’s War in the East2"

Thanks for the reply. I am not on Steam and I only used the game installation from Matrix- no changes. I assume your response should work for me. Again, thanks.
