This may be a dumb question and I apologize if it has been asked and answered previously. I searched but, it couldn't find it.

Are there any issues with running both the Steam and Matrix versions of CMO? I play on the Steam version now. I want to install the Matrix version as a backup so I can have easy access to the latest Beta without over writing my Steam version. I really dislike having to fix any muck-ups I cause on my computer. I'm pleased with how the software is running now and don't want to create any problems or conflicts.

I have had both on all laptops for years.

I run both without issues. I use Steam to opt into betas.
