I'm using windows 11 anyway I'm having a task force disband window not working,or so it seems.
Here's the situation I was attacking wake island when the kinny maru to a 5 inch shell hit so I took the island that same turn Dec 19th the kinny maru has a fire going level 25 and obviously need to put it out so i formed a new task force of one the kinny maru and when I try to disband the window opens up "disband task force" window opens it will not let me.The kinny maru has about 1250 supply on board so it seems I have to unload it before I can disband and fight the fire?
What should I do if anything thanks.

The burning ship should sit disbaned at Wake Island. Once the fires are extingushed you should be able to form a TF with the ship and unload the cargo at Wake. At least, that is how I remember the game behavior re burning ships.

You need to use keyboard for that Y/N.
Mouse click in this one is disabled to prevent accidental disbandment.

You can also just remove the ship from the task force.
If you would set up an escort TF, the escorts may help to put out the fires.

You can’t put a ship on fire into pier side, much less disband it.

It can go into a port but not into a repair mode that gives any assistance.

With the new beta, you have to press "Y" on the keyboard to disband a task force.

The new beta has a number of known glitches. I don't believe many players are using it for a game at this time. It is used for getting a complete list of all of the known bugs for final release.
So, if you are playing a game or learning the game, I would suggest the last official release, not the beta at this time.

+1 to Pax's suggestion. If you want to do that and switch to the new Beta when it becomes official, follow what they say about the map updates. You should be able to swap out the .1126 version of the game with the .1128 (or whatever the final edition is) because you will get some database updates and the new game engine, but you may need to tweak anything that changes base locations. You don't want your aircraft currently at an AF to end up on a non-base hex if the AF is moved one hex or deleted!

Just add .bak to the existing .exe file in case you want to go back to it. Then copy the .exe file from the .1128 version and paste it to where the folder where the older .exe file was. This should work to update just the program file without changing the map and scenario information.

You could also use michaelm's unofficial beta:
https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 3&t=386537
It adds some fixes and works with old map.
