How To Install Graphic Mods

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry if this is a topic that has already been covered in other posts, but I can't find any information about it.
I have downloaded several very interesting graphic mods about counters, map styles etc from this forum and I would like to implement it in my game but I don't know how to do it.
I unzip the .zip and place them in the “graphic override” folder but it doesn't seem to work just that, I think I'm missing something.

Also, I am trying to find the "Dave's 2D counter mod" but I cannot find it in this forum

Can anyone help me?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Thanks for your fast reply!

Yes, I checked that post, but in that post is only explained how to install new scenarios. This is a thing that I already know how to do it.

My question is more about graphic mods. The style of the maps, the style of the counters.GUI....
I unzip those previously downloaded .zip files in the “Graphics Override” folder and nothing seems to change when I enter the game.

Did you ever figure this out? Because I think I can walk you through it.

The stuff that you want to affect ONLY a certain scenario has to be IN a folder with the EXACT name of the scenario in the Graphics Override folder.

Stuff you want to affect the every scenario every time you play it, like terrain mods, has to be in the Graphics Override folder BUT NOT in a folder.

Anything in the Graphics Override folder will "override" anything in the game. Anything in a folder INSIDE the Graphics Override folder in a scenario will "override" both the main game AND anything else in the Graphic Override folder. It is the ultimate override.

So if you like a boardgame mod for everyday use, all of the terrain files in all of the sizes must be in the Graphics Override folder. But if you have special terrain needs or counters for a scenario called "Medieval Times v6.17", it would have to be IN a folder called Medieval Times v6.17, which would be located in the Graphics override folder. The game "looks" in the Medieval Times v6.17 folder first, THEN in the Graphics Override folder, and THEN in the main game files.
